I don't worry about proper capitalization in IMs, but I do try for it on the board. In IMs, I think it just slows up the flow of conversation.

For some reason, it really irritates me when I have to use a chat room for help on a website and the person they've hired to chat/help uses all proper capitalization and punctuation. It always takes them 18 minutes to respond to each line, and it's like "Well, maybe if you weren't capitalizing the H in 'How can I help you?', we'd all be done with this a little faster."

Your body regenerates itself every 90 days. All of the internal cells that it's through with come out via your pee or poo. I didn't realize that I shit out my liver every 90 days, but there you go.

I think I want to grow out my hair for something different. Show me some haircuts that are longer than mine now that I should aim for.

My experience with Audis is that if you don't pour money into them to keep them maintained (or don't know that someone else has), they can easily fall to crap and become money pits. That's what happened with my boyfriend. I like them better than Volvos though. Those things are crazy ugly!

My dad signs his IMs, "Love Dad".

I know I'll be kicked out of the comic book club for saying so, but I checked out the graphic novel from the library and got bored enough with it that I returned it less than a quarter of the way through.

As an aside, are those new characters outside the regular superhero world, or recycled from other comics?

:-D For the first time ever, I got to take part in one of those political polls to see who I will vote for in November and stuff. It's awesome because I even worked for a polling/survey research place at one point and I always felt so left out that I couldn't answer. And I even made $3. Wahoo!

Did you guys notice the bulletproof glass around Jon's desk for the Musharrif interview?

I can't wait to get away from my Razr. Have no idea which version it is (I got it a few months after it first hit the scene, so whatever the oldest one is) and it's broken on me once (I lost all my numbers), has awful reception, the buttons are hard to press, and I hate Motorola's menus compared to a Nokia. I went from a Nokia 3650 to this mainly because of size issues, but it was a dumb mistake.

*waits patiently for her contract to be up this month so she can get a Treo*

My birthday was pretty good. No parties (unless you count me and my two "diet buddies" pigging out on cheesecake and Reese pumpkins tonight).

Okay I'm lying. My actual birthday day kind of blew because I was sick so I was miserable and I couldn't go out drinking because I had to work today and I hurt my elbow and work sucked. But my boyfriend got me a Treo, and that was awesome.

Now I feel ill from too much cheesecake.

I won't be having a party because honestly my friends aren't reliable enough that I could depend on a large group of people showing up, and plus it's awkward because they don't mingle very well with each other (because I'm in a couple of different groups).

I'm having a good hair day because I had a haircut after being wayyyy overdue, so I had to preserve the moment. Yes, my hair still looks exactly the same. I'm a creature of habit.

Also, I made that face especially for James Wilson. I now am no longer even capable of smiling regularly in a photo.

I am friends with lots and lots and lots of art majors and dancers. They insist on having a theme party EVERY SINGLE TIME. And it's not something easy and stupid like Hawaiian shirt or grunge. It's like "Dress like your favorite Disney character" or "dress like a negative racial stereotype" or "cancer party". Note that the Disney character one included my friend painting his ENTIRE BODY in blue costume paint to be the Genie. It's amusing, but I can't keep up. And so I get sick of just wanting to hang out and see my friends, but instead they all chide me all night because I'm not in costume. I don't want to make an effort to stand around and get drunk with people.

DOWN WITH THEME PARTIES!!

I love how that story looks in my head.

I saw some great passive aggression today on my way to work. This one car was driving just at or below the speed limit in the fast lane and the cars in the 2nd lane were heavy enough that you couldn't get around. I managed to get around in the slow lane, and watched in my mirror as this white truck managed to whip around in front of the slow car, then slam on his brakes until they were going about 40. The slow car tried to get in the middle lane to get around him, and he swerved over recklessly to hold them back. They did this for a couple of miles until I lost them in my rearview because they were going so slow. On one hand, it was crazy juvenile, on the other, I had to laugh.

I finally saw the Science of Sleep last night. I hate it when I feel too stupid to "get" a movie. It was pretty though.

Hah. Mo watches Regis.

Today I convinced my boss to let me take the week before Christmas off because my parents have offered to fly me down and stay with them in a Hilton in Cancun!!!! EEEEEEEEEE!

That's a really tough situation. I went through it, but my advice is no good because I had a wonderful out. I was stuck in a class that I was absolutely not going to be able to pass. When I was on my way home from studying at 2am, the car I was in got hit by a drunk driver. I went to the hospital and everything and was already planning on suing the guy's insurance to get my medical bills covered. So, I said that because of the physical pain that I was in, I was no longer able to carry my heavy bags for class to campus each day. When I dropped out, I added the money I owed back to student loans into the total amount I was suing him for, and we got most of it, so I was covered.

Anyway, I would go and talk to your financial aid office. You're certainly not the only person who has been in this situation before and I'm sure they can tell you how to handle it.

I don't like the Liars album. I only gave it half a chance though. I thought it had way too much noise and crashing and not enough melody. I'd be willing to give it another listen if anyone out there wants to point out why it's actually good. I just think it's pretentious.

My hair isn't curly, but it's thick as all get out. (So I get all of the annoying thickness without even having anything attractive about it - like being able to be curly if I am motivated to do so.)

I'm trying to grow my hair out right now and it's going horribly. I'm to the point where it's too long to look right when I put all my random goopy sticky products from the salon in, because I used to be having a messy spikey look. Now I just want it to lie down. When I just blow dry it, the crown is still static-y and cow-licky that it stand straight up and waves around (but only random strands, not all of it, so that it might be cute). So I have no idea what to put in it to make it calm the hell down.

Last night I dreamed that I had a fight with mom about my brother. It got me to thinking, and I think I'll talk about it with Mom next time I see her.

I also dreamed I was walking in the park and saw a panda. Aw that would be so cute!!

Man, my life is boring.
